Parking and Arrival Instructions
When you arrive at Car Donation Services, please note that our office building looks like a house. The front door is for administrative use only.
Where to Park
Please park in the gravel lot on the right-hand side of the building, which serves as the public sales lot and parking area.
After parking, walk through the open car yard gates to access the active vehicle inventory. From there, you are welcome to look around and speak with a member of our sales team.
Browse Active Inventory
Visitors are encouraged to take a look at the active vehicle inventory during public sale hours. Our team can help answer questions, provide updates on available vehicles, and assist you as you narrow down your options.
If you would like to check on inventory before making the trip, we recommend calling or texting the sales line in advance.
Test Drives
If you are interested in purchasing a vehicle, test drives are available.
What You Need for a Test Drive
- A valid driver’s license
That is all Car Donation Services requires for you to test drive a vehicle you are considering.
Purchasing a Vehicle
When you are ready to purchase a vehicle, Car Donation Services accepts the following payment methods:
- Cash
- Cashier’s Check
- Money Orders
Please note that personal checks and credit cards are not accepted.
For convenience, the Pacheco Branch Post Office, located directly across the street, can issue money orders.
Vehicle Purchase Process
Buying a vehicle from Car Donation Services is straightforward. Here is what you can expect:
1. Find a Vehicle You Love
Browse the active inventory and choose a vehicle that fits your needs and budget.
2. Test Drive the Vehicle
Take the vehicle for a test drive with a valid driver’s license.
3. Set Your Price Point
Work with our sales team to confirm the purchase price.
4. Leave a Deposit or Pay in Full
At the time of purchase, you will need to either:
- Leave a $200 deposit, or
- Pay for the vehicle in full
5. Register the Vehicle
You will need to register the vehicle in your name through the DMV or an affiliated office.
6. Bring Back Proof of Registration
Once you return to CDS with proof that the vehicle has been registered in your name, you may take possession of the vehicle.
7. Pick Up Your Vehicle
After proof of registration has been provided, the vehicle is yours. At that time, you will receive the keys and may take the vehicle.
Vehicle pickup is available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
