2015 Subaru Forester

This 2015 Subaru Forester was a true diamond in the rough when it arrived at Car Donation Services in May. Although it came to us with a failing transmission, our team saw beyond the mechanical issue and recognized the vehicle’s potential.

Rather than simply selling the Forester in its existing condition, the CDS team took the opportunity to increase its value. After replacing the transmission and giving the Subaru the attention it needed, the vehicle was ready for a fresh start and a new owner.

That extra effort made a meaningful difference. The repaired Forester was successfully resold at a strong value, helping maximize the proceeds generated by the donor’s generous vehicle donation. In turn, those proceeds provided greater financial support for one of our valued charity partners.

This Subaru is a great example of what can happen when a donated vehicle receives the right care. Even a car with a significant mechanical problem can still have value and potential.
